Triforce... is it in you?

The ledgendary relic in the Zelda series, the Triforce. You've been able to obtain it in all of the other 4 games, so why not this one, right? All of the rumors floating around may seem convincing, some more than others. But most of them are just hoaxes used to make true Zelda players, like me and probably you, waste their time, and taking a shot in the dark on finding the most wanted object in Hyrule. This part of the site is used for such "wild goose chases". Any rumors I hear about or recieve through email will be posted here.

THE TRIFORCE IS FOUND!

Yes, its true and official. Nintendo has anounced that they have found the Triforce in Zelda 64.
The three possible places to find it are:
A. The Kokiri Shop
B. The Temple of Time
C. The Deku Tree
Nintendo however won't release the directions on how to attain it. We'll keep ya posted.

I found this off of a site. I'm 99% sure the Triforce is not in the Temple of Time. I've done the trick where you can see behind walls by charging your sword up and have the camera facing out from the wall you want to look at. Then press and hold B to charge your sword and the camera will pan back and you can see through the wall and any solid objects there. I even did so much as use a Gameshark and use the moon jump to go up from the Pedestal of Time really high so I could see all corners of the Temple of Time and there is NOTHING behind any of the walls! I also know there is NOTHING below the Pedestal because the trick with charging your sword also lets you see under the floor (if you don't believe me, go to the room above Bongo-Bongo and try it.) So the Triforce or a portal would have to materialize from somewhere.

Something that bugs me about this is, wouldn't Nintendo already know that the Triforce was in the game or not?! I mean come on! They made it so why shouldn't they know if it was in the game or not!? Go figure...

Update: I believe this was just an April Fools joke, similar to the one I pulled, about finding the Triforce. If you believe the above statement about actually finding the Triforce... you've got gullable written all over your forehead.

- This is one of the most convincing rumors going around. This girl, Adriana from Colorado, has claimed to have found the Triforce and she actually has pictures to go along with her claim! Very, very convincing... but there's enough evidence against her to deny your decision to believe her. Status: Incomplete Procedure

- Here is a Triforce rumor I recieved through email. It's another one of those "Kill all of these... then do this..." rumors. Believeable? Could be...

(Start of email) Okay. I'm sure that you are getting tons of E-mails, so I'll get to the point. A good friend of mine (one that I believe is truthful) told me of a way to get all 3 pieces of triforce. You may think this is another hoax, and I wouldn't blame you, but I think it may be true. It is fairly complicated, and I haven't had a chance to try it out. I wouldappreciate it if you could try it and tell me if it works. You don'thave to try it if you don't want to, of course. Okay. I believe these are all the steps.

1. You must beat the game normally. This is easy enough.
2. You must collect all 100 skulltulas. This is a little more difficult.
3. You must now defeat every Beamos in the game with exactly 1 bomb each. This sound nearly impossible. I have no idea how you are supposed to accomplish this.
4. You go to fight Gannon again, and as soon as you enter the room, he rushes at you. You are supposed to see the third and final piece of triforce when you enter, or something like that. Anyway, you defeat Gannon, and gain his piece of triforce. Now you have Link's, Zelda's, and Gannon's.

I believe that if this is true, this is the way to get a better ending. Like I said before, I have no idea if it is true or not. I will have to start a new game, since there is no way I can get all 100 skulltulas. If this does in fact work, please notify me. (End of email)

I doubt this is real. This guy didn't give me his name and when I tried to email him back, the address returned unknown. I guess we'll never know. Status: Not Tested

- Here is another Triforce rumor I heard. Even though it's proven to be false, it was kind of convincing because of the detailed dialog. It's just kind of entertaining to read. Status: Not Tested

- This Triforce rumor is from
The Temple of Light.

1. First name each of the Zelda files Din, Faroe(check spelling), and Nayru.
2. This is crutial! You must not get ANY skulltulas or ANY hearts or heart pieces. HINT: Only the strong can save Hyrule but the determined will rule Hyrule (Gossip Stone clue.)
3. Do not get the hearts after you beat the boss.
4. You must beat the file with only three hearts and 0 skulltulas. 5. Do this with Faroe and Nayru as well.
6. Everything seems the same right? Wrong.
7. Go to the Temple of Time and take out a Deku stick.
8. In the "Din" file stand on the Fire Medallion. The Deku stick should catch on fire. Put it away.
9. In the "Faroe" file stand on the Shadow Medallion. Take out a bottle. A "Luring Poe" should appear. Kill it and catch it.
10. In the "Nayru" file, stand on the light Medallion. Take out the bottle. The Poe will talk to you. He will say "The Seal has been broken."
11. The seal is located at, you guessed it, the place at the bottom of Zora's Domain that no one can get into.
12. Go into the place.
13. There will be nothing.
14. Go on the TriForce imprint on the ground.
15. Play "Zelda's Lullaby".
16. Watch the cinema.
17. You will see something really funny.
18. Get the TriForce from -confidential

I don't think this is real because it's extremely time consuming. People will make these up just to make people waste their time doing these and then find out that it isn't real. Status: Not Tested

Here is a cool site that has some faked on purpose Triforce pictures. They're pretty well done.
