"Funny how are mind plays tricks eh?.... makes you second guess what is real and what isn't....." He leans back a bit and gives a large grin. "Oh come on im sure you've heard and seen worse....." Now grinning larger then before...
"I'd rather not relate them back again." She laughs merrily. "So where did you learn all of these tricks and spells of yours?"
((if all else fails, learn some history. @_@)) |
A long pause followed the question Riki had asked. Feeling comfortable to answer he slowly answers the question. "I learned alot of them from my ....father.... the rest I learned by myself...."
TZM nods. "You remind me slightly of my... other I guess you'd call him. He is able to bend shadows and darkness to his will, something I myself cannot do. he's changed his looks and his name, wishing to keap as much distance from me as he can really..." he chuckles slightly. "A spell is a spell, i can see what is real and what is not if I so wished... but I respect your wishes of closer, so I wont." he chuckles slightly. "Sorry, i dont meen to sound all high and mighty towards you."
"Don't worry about it... Some times you have to be to get your point across...... so this...other....... he's... interesting.... heh... Excuse me... My name is Bernhard!" He jumps out of his chair and puts out a hand in freindship. But not losing that thought of another shadow manipulator.
TZM smirks, taking out his ahnd to shake his. "I'm TZM..." He smiles which slowly fades as his facieal expression slwoly changed. "No..." he looked over to the closest window, his head snapping. "crap no!"
Seeing the expression on TZM face sent a shriek through Bern's spine. He quickly turns and unsheathes his sword. "What is it?! What's wrong?!"
TZM closed his eyes. "An old friend..." he slowly walked to the window. "None of you have to have anything to do with this..." he opened his eyes slwoly and looked out. "You can get out now if you dont want to help me..."

"I don't think I can be that much trouble, to be honest. I mean, what do you think I can do?" She laughs slightly, before returning to the matter at hand "I wonder if you know the man who sent me here? I didn't catch his name. Fairly short for a guy, very pale, looks like he's spent too long alone" ---Along a lonely road Perhaps he shouldn't have sent the girl away that soon? Afterall, a bit of companionship never hurts? No. Not again. And anyway, there's always her. But it's been a long while. And honestly, oh messenger, what have you found on your journey? Have I learned anything? Only that I'll never acheive anything by wandering like this. What about the demon? What about him? If I end up fighting, so be it. But I want choice. No longer just to be thrown head-first into situations, but to resolve them myself. That's your burden, messenger. To gain power you've got to lose something. I've lost enough, damnit. That's why I'm here. Bloody hell. Why do I keep doing this to myself? With a sigh, Hayate turns in the road and starts the long trek back to where all... well, a few of his problems started. ((And if you can't guess the accompanying music to that scene, look harder.)) |
A seemingly young lady walks through the bookshelves into the library in a ghostly form. Her body finally changes back to a solid form and she straightens out her short, red, satin dress. Running her fingers through her hair, she looks at Alinos. "Having fun with your new clan of humans? Seems you're growing attatched to this place more every time I visit with you, old man."
Alinos rolls his eyes, half-interested. "What do you want, Knell?"
She begins fiddling with her bracelet. "Living all by my lonesome little self dosen't bring about much company, as I'm sure you know. That's why you spend all your time in that damn little cafe'. I'm just here to entertain myself. I also heard a nice gathering of Abbis were here, as well as the soul of the planet. It was all to exciting to pass up and leave a good story untold, I had to know. A shame the Abbis were fighting each other, such a waste. Oh well, that's how the ball bounces I suppose."
Alinos seems amused and reclines in his chair. "Get a number, you're the singular soul-taker anymore in these parts."
"Whatever dosen't kill you makes you stronger. Hehe... literally. No doubt one of these fogies knows I'm here. I suppose I'll have a look around in this palace of books." She begins searching for anything regarding the Abbis/Angel war. "Oh, and they may blame my presence on you, so you know what to expect with barbarians."
To end another characteristically long absence, Kyushin materializes off to the side as Alinos and Knell converse. He raises an eyebrow at Alinos. "...Friend of your's?"
"Only slightly better terms than we're on with Legion." The Angel crosses his arms. "So where have you ran off to?"
"Oh come now, Legion wasn't that bad for being a parasite." Knell turns to Kyushin and walks up to him slowley, extending a delicate hand. "My name is Knell, an out of work hairdresser. At your service."
"I've been... Exploring. We'll have to talk about that later." Kyushin looks from Alinos to Knell's outstretched hand and tilts his head, as though puzzled. "Another of your kind, Alinos? This is a first for me."
((Time for me to start color-coding)) |
Knell, giving an uninterested gasp, takes her hand back and grins. "I guess the 'hair dresser' bit dosen't work anymore. Meh, I'll get a better one." Knell goes and browses books again bordley. "You aren't going to introduce me in my full glory? Shame."
Avalon, after getting himself a glass of water, makes his way back to the library. He sees Alinos with another angel. He stops for a second, but doesn't say anything. He simply shakes his head and goes to have a seat.
"I would never leave a friend behind..... Im staying with you...." He raises his sword and slowly rubs the edge to see if the edge had retained its sharpness over so man times of use and abuse. Then slowly bringing it down and watching what TZM does next.
TZM closed his eyes and turned. "Awhile ago... i was imprissoned with a place known as Hell's Maw, chained to a rock, i had to suffer the fires of hell itself..." He paused for amoment and sighed. "I made it out... but the one that accompanied me... he... didn't..." her looked back towards the window. "He had changed before I was able to break free... and then i was too week to go back afterwards..." he swallowed. "Now he's out... and coming this way... his aura of darkness is something I can feal even here... he wants me to die..." TZM shook his head again, turning back, but this time, tears ran down his eyes. "I promised I wouldnt fight any longer... I no longer even have a weapon to use..." Closing his eyes, another gush of tears came forth. "I knew that i would have to again sometime... I just knew it..." Suddenly he begins to glow with an unearthly light, a shimmering blinding light that radiated outwards, touching every ince of the lybrary. His eyes sloely opened and as they did, his own eyes had changed colors, now becoming a bright brilliant grean color, them too glowing. "If you make the choise of accompanying me to this battle... then I thank you in advance... for I may not see any of you again..." His voice held a certain amount of an echo to it, different sounding, as if this was how he truelly sounded. His shroud of a mere human had been lifted, giving away to who he truelly was.
~~~ Dax's eyes widdened suddenly. "He's using his powers?!..." he wispered these words to himself, fealing the difference in the power become emense. He had held it back fort so long, hadn't fought in almost a year even... and now, of all times he was going to let loose? why?! Dax glared at the door. "that poor bastard..." he shook his head again, pulloing his black gun out of it's holster, pointing it at the door, then wispered. "Your mine next time honey..." With that, he melded within the shadows, and seamingly dissapeared. |
Rose guides Serafine towards the library. "He sounds familiar. Does he have a name of any sorts?" They enter the library together. Rose's eyes coolly gaze around the area, seeing who was here. She didn't recongize one or two of the patrons, and this bugged her. The castle, after all, was the closet thing to a home she ever had. She opens her mouth to comment and then snaps it shut when she spies Riki. Relations between the two were still strained. Rose wasn't very welcoming to Riki's attempts to bond with her daughter. Rose turns to Serafine. "So here's the library. I hope you can read Abbissian, most of the books are written in it."
Riki hears Rose's voice and glances up. "Rose.." She gets up and walks over to Rose, who turns away from Serafine with a strained-yet-apologetic glance. "What." "..How are you?" "Why do you care?" Riki's face becomes strained and she seems to be older. "Because your my daughter, it's my job to care." "I'm not your daughter. I'm Rikali's daughter." "Rose...you're not a dragon." "And you're not a human." Riki flinches, but Rose ignores her and carries on. "What do you want around here anyway? I don't need you. I'm fine by myself." "No...I know you're okay by yourself...but you're all I have! Hayate disappeared and.." "Not my problem." "Rose, just give me a chance." Rose stares at Riki and shakes her head slowly before walking away to brood in a chair near Alinos. |
Knell looks back at Avalon quite quickly. She then turns and finally finds a history book of the Abbisian race. Flipping through the pages the begins read aloud in whispers about the war. "They were such a nice race of magical brutes, don't you think Alinos?"
The sinking feeling was back and slowly moving towards Bernhard's stomach. His lips became and a lump formed in the back of his throat as he watched TZM sink into the shadows that he has known so well. Gulping hard he tightens his grip around his sword and slowly slides it into the sheath. Taking a deep breath he takes off his robe that had been ripped at the sleeves from many many years of battle and wear. Throwing it on the ground it immediately breaks into shadows and scatters to the far ends of the room. Cracking his knuckles he slowly begins to breath deeply and soon after starting to scream. Skin could be heard tearing as he grasps his head and yells in terror. His gold shimmering eyes roll to the back of his head and cracking of bones can be heard throughout the room. His skin stretches and finally tears as gray stony skin begins to appear under the bloody human flesh. His big wings unfold as the last bits of flesh is removed and a taller muscular bern stands.
The gold eyes which had once retreated to the desolate darkness of his head had returned and now hidden in shadows from his horns which curled around the ear up to his brow to shed his eyes from the light. Stretching backward his back cracks and streches out his bat-like wings. Soon after he scratches the scar that had remained on his right eye for so many years with his long claws that had formed on hands and feet. Grabbing his sword, he reclasps it to his waist and lets his spiked, spiny tail sway in the air. Feeling a little weak he sits for a few moments letting his legs bend and stretch. The bones that had been crackng could be seen why they had been as his legs bend backward like a dog and finally regaining his strength he gets up and breaths deep once more. Closing his eyes and crossing his arms he slowly begins to melt away in the darkness of the library after TZM. |
Alinos scoffs. "I'd say being obnoxious is the closest you have to a hobby, isn't it? Keep making those comments and you'll be dealing with the resident Abbis." The Angel's wings unfold as he stretches.
"Wasn't it an obligation to help your fellow angels? Meh, at least it was in the plain of existance. Anyways, I won't be fighting, just taking what should have been taken years ago. Proves the class of the ancient folks, does it not?"
Avalon sighs, not impressed. He gets back up and faces the newcomer Angel. "You seem to have no business here. On any other occasion i'd escort you out myself, but this Castle has seen more fights than it has to. Now leave, I ask only that."
Knell feigns a gasp of surprise. "Oh but please, sir. I've only come to visit with my friend here." She lays a pale hand on Alinos' shoulder as she continues to lie. "You see, it's an obligation of mine to keep this one here company during what could be dangerous to his chances of getting back home. I didn't mean to cause any trouble." Knells bracelet swirls purple in the many charms, screams filling Avalon's ears with the cries of others of his race.
He snarls. His hand inches towards her, but he stops himself; not wanting to make a scene. "Get out. Now."
Knell finally cuts her act of innoscence and begins walking around the cold stone floor, her high-heels making loud noises at every step. "Come on, oldie. The big red devil told me all about you and your brothers. Your sons and your daughter. I couldn't resist, so now you see me here and I'm not going to leave without something I want." Knell stares dead in Avalon's eyes and grins. "Think you can survive another war? Because the way I see it, it's coming. I just get to be the one to draw first blood."
He grunts, not making any facial expression. "Have respect for the castle. Let's go outside. Oh, and one more thing. When I win, you will give me that bracelet."
"Hmm.. sounds reasonable. Just a hobby of mine to keep mementos but what the hell? You can't do a thing with it anyway. Lets go." She walks to the wall and fades through it, walking out of the castle, followed by rather large black and white wings sprouting from her back.
He snorts, thinking to himself 'An angel is always trying to show off.' Before he makes his way out of the library, he shoots a dirty look at Alinos, wondering why he'd allow such trash in. Within a few second, Avalon joins Knell outside. "You mentioned the war, I take it you were part of it? I know Alinos wasn't; but why are you Fallen?"
Knell shakes her head and grins a bit. "It was just a duty I had to perform, but I thought that'd I'd take a few souviners with me. Apparently He didn't like that and sent me here. I've had nothing more to do in the past couple thousands of years I've been here. You and your kind just intrigue me."
"I bet you'd love to get your hands on me, wouldn't you?" He smirks. Avalon was still wondering if this fight was worth it, should be disrespect Ayn and the others in the castle just cause of a foolish Angel? Then again, she IS a friend of Legions..
"It'd be a nice treasure. But my friendship with the red devil you like to think of isn't permanent. It won't last if he keeps trying to get my babies here." Knell looks at ther bracelet and takes it off, throwing it at Avalons feet. She smirks, wondering if he knew that after absorbing so many Abbis she knew also how to read minds. "I'll be getting that back from you." Her red dress sparkles as a long diamond spear appears in her hand. He dress receeds up to where it only covers her chest and turns into a black chainmail. Her high-heel turn to thick leather and plated steel thigh high boots and a chainmail skirt drapes over her. "Time to see if this armor works anymore, I suppose." Knell flies into the air with her spear in her right hand. She aims her left palm at Avalon and a light purple beam of concentrated magic flies speedily at him.
Avalon slowly raises his arm and without much strain, smacks the ball out of the air. "It's not by luck that I survived the war, ya know." He bends down, picking up the bracelet, and pockets it. "You're going to have to step it up."
In the air, Knell spins rapidly before many smaller neutral magics fly out at Avalon. After the attack, she swoops down, poised to skewer him with her spear.
He blocks the incoming magics, and sidesteps the spear. Obviously toying around, he cleans a little bit of dust off his shoulder. "Such dry weather." He smiles. "I know you're holding back, Angel. So as long as you hold back, I will too."
Knell smirks and her wings fold, letting her drop to the ground. "I suppose, then." Her wings shoot back and she disappears, feathers floating to the ground. She reappears inches above his head upside down, her spear strapped to her back. She has both arms outstretch, one had with a white colored magic and the ocatsexr a swirling dark. She smashes them together on Avalons head before attempting to fly from him.
Avalon tries to get away from the attack, but is caught with the two magics. He stumbles a bit, a little dazed. He reginas his composure in time to see the Angel trying to fly away. He reaches out, just barely grabbing her ankle, then swings her around and sending her flying in the direction of a tree.
A look of shock spreads across Knells face. The next thing she knows, she is on the ground with a treelaying beside her. She gets up and shrugs is off before running up to the Abbis, taking her spear and trying to hit him with the handle of his in the side of the head.
He lifts his hand up, blocking the spear. Then he raises his leg up and kicks her in the stomach.
She takes the entire force of the hit and backflips, stabbing her spear into the ground. Quickly she spins on it and kicks Avalons straight in the face with both feet,a dark black vorpal magic following her attack and hitting him at the same time with her attack. She drops from the spear and runs at him, backflipping again and kicking him in the jaw by doing so, the magic of her hits following.
Avalon gets kicked in the mouth, but he was braced for it, and it didnt do much, but he wasn't expecting the second kick, and he stumbles back into the wall. He spits out blood, and for the first time in the fight, looks genuinely pissed. He raises his arms, and two trees are ripped out from the earth. Avalon then claps his hands, and the two trees slam together, with Knell in the middle.
"...Shit."Knell quickly spreads her arms and legs apart to hold the trees back and her whole body shudders. Finally her strength gives way and the two trees crush her and she falls limp to the ground. She gets up with a bloody lip and scratches all over her body. Angrily she puts both hands togecatsexr and screams, shooting a large blue and red shot of magic and telepathic energy at him, shoving her back many feet and back onto the ground.
TZM gives a slight glare, qand suddenly he and Bern are no longer within the castle, using his abilities and manipulation of the wind, he had transported the two outside, where, hopefully, not as much could be damaged. His face held an emotionless stare, eyes never blinking, their glow emmitting outwards with a glare that could peirce one's soul. "He's stronger than anything you have most likely come accross... and whats worse, his anger and rage has spawned him into a totally different form than he once held... and even then... his powers are centered upon my own..." No emotions run accross TZM's face as he speakes these words, and his voice is rather emtionless as well... he can truelly be seen for who he truelly is, the inherit child and holder of the triforce of courage, and the keaper of Wind's power, of Farore. He held within him... the power of the gods.
~~~ Dax apeared below the castle, looking up with a slight smile on his face. "So whats the big deal?..." "Decided to help?" "Nope, decided i wanted to do more than guard a friggen door all night against a succubas, you?" For the first time since thius whole thing had accured, an emotion flashed accross TZM's face. "You never change Dax... " Dax chuckled then seamingly floated up, his darkness and energy flowing outwards as well, his trenchcoat flowing with the wind that now mingled amidst the three of them. On either side of Bern now were the two, their power's radiating outwards. Dax's facial features and body chemistry, seamed to shift slightly, his face and hair style and color changing from the dark and pale look, to seeming to be a slightly darker version of TZM himself. He was once again... DTZM. For every soarce of light... a darkness is born. |
He folds his arms out in front of him, making a shield, but then he mutters something and a field extends out in front of him, protecting him. The blast hits, and while still tearing through the shield, takes most of the blast. Avalon is pushed back once again, losing his balance.
Knell gets up and runs at him, jumping on him and charging her fist with a purple field of magic and begins to rapidly attack hit with her punches before finally raising her hand and opening it. Another large ball of power forms and she attempts to swipe Avalon's face off with it.
Knell is successful with her swipe, but that was it for Avalon. After the hit, he grabbed her and threw her against a nearby tree, then he blasted a ball of magic point blank at her face, sending her flying back some more. He jumped, and landed on top of her, fist out, hitting her in the stomach. She was now laying on the ground, with him towering over her. "Silly Angel.." He stretches out his arm, and a ball of magic forms in his palm. Ready to blast it, he watches her squirm on the ground for a bit.
"Im ready....... besides, the greatest challenge I could face is death..... and im ready for that......" Grabbing the blade he thrusts it forward forcing it to stop an inch from his stony nose. Turning it sideways he drops it to the side and slowly makes circles on the ground. His muscles tensing up and his breath running dry. Knowing this could be the biggest challenge he could ever encounter sent a shriek of adrenaline through his spine. His gigantic tail slides around and lashes about in spazzmatic burts, always in motion. The unforgettable eyes pierce the air as he looks over the two. Constantly tightening his grip and adjusting and moving something.
Knell grits her teeth, not fearing at all the attack but rather in it's place an insane hate for the Abbis. Her spear disappears from its place stabbed into the ground a few yards away and appears in her hands. She holds it a few inches away from Avalon's crotch and a small black orb on the tip of the spear. "What do you want in life?"
Avalon stares for a few minutes before putting his arm down slowly, the magic ball disappearing. As he is about to turn around, he raises his arm in a quick motion and backhands Knell. After doing so, he makes his way back to the castle.
Dax smiled slightly. "relax man... we migfht only die..."
TZM's eyes narrowed slightly, the wind seaming to turn into small gusts here and there. "Don't kill him... this is my fault..." "Fine, we'll let you kill him..." "I dont want to kill him..." "He could destroy us all if you dont..." Dax spoke these words not emotionally, but matter effactly, seriously. "I know... I know..." Off in the distance a figure could be seen flying towards them. Within moment it'd be there... any moment now... |
Knell spins as the hand hits her and her wings fade. She returns to her regular dress and wipes her lip. She looks in her palm and smirks before putting her bracelet back on her wrist. "He wasn't a normal one..."
With a shrill cry a flaming hawk-like creature soars overheard. Burning feather falls bellow it like fireballs, setting patches of grass aflame. From a distance it resembled a phoenix, but it was a false one. The bird's flesh was scorched, as if someone had set it on fire in a cruel prank. With a final ear-splitting shriek the bird disinigrates completely, sprinkinling ash nearby Knell. Smoldering with a dying fire, the ashes begin to spread apart from their pile as a man rises, Legion dressed in full garb stands above the ash. It would seem that he took a pseudo form of the undying Phoenix, comparing his seeming immortality to the legendary bird's gift. He flicks his hair back, smiling to himself.
"What a nasty little tactic. That was funny." The Demon gives off a shark-grin, eyeing the castle windows knowing that at any second his presence might be detected. "I wonder how Alyce is fairing in there." |
"I was wondering when you'd show up." Knell grabs Legion's shirt and pulls him twoard her. "You didn't tell me how powerful he was! I assumed him to be weaker without his other two forms. And as for your puppet..." Knell lets go, disgusted. "...She'll die as soon as she rapes somebody and makes it hurt."
Legion looks down as Knell grabs his shirt in anger, no longer hearing her whining a sneer turns into a very loud snarl, the Demon's eyes burning with rage. An unseen force suddenly plucks Knell off the ground and pulls her arms in opposite directions as she is flipped, making her look like an upside down cross. Legion bears a mouth full off razor-fangs, speaking in a thousand inhuman voices. "Touch me like that again, and I will DEVOUR you." With a flick of his wrist Knell is sent flying backwards, skidding across the ground. Instanly Legion has reverted back to his calm but spitefully-obnoxious tone. "Alyce is a venture I took a chance on. She better not fail me. Luckly, there seems to be some force coming with a sharp aura, I've been able to hide mine with it around."
Knell looks back up at him, drianed from her fight she raises her left hand and the bracelet projects a holographic image of Avalon in front of Legion. "I wouldn't do that again, because you remember well, you didn't last a second against one of these Abbis. I was the one that nearly beat him." She lowers her hand and her wings sprout. She starts rubbing them gently as if they were sore. "You and your boss are out of league now, so why don't you run off and tell him that while I enquire your gofer, hm?"
The Demon suddenly bursts into a fit of laughter, but soon calms down. "You never did get it...but whatever, it's-hah-irrelivent. I'll be staying until they notice me, don't worry. I'll leave you to your sadism soon enough."
"I'll make sure to give them the hell you couldn't in time. 'Till then, keep in touch lover." Knells wings fold over her body and as she snickers at the thought of her ever having a partner. Her mind was on the Abbisian and his power. What did this Vorena have... and especially that Onarav. She walked through the halls, careful not to be noticed until she came upon the courtyard. The graves were curious to her. She sat on the grave stone of One, mending to her injured wings.
Avalon heads into the library and walks right up to Onarav. "This castle isn't safe anymore. We have quite a few visitors, if you know what I mean." He crosses his arms, and flicks his head towards the wall, in the direction of where his fight took place.
Rose, in a huffy mood from her conflict with Riki, walks by Avalon on the way outside. His words irritated her, in the sense that anybody would be so ignorant as to disrupt this sanctuary, but also excited her. Finally, a chance to try out these new powers she had studied during the long peaceful drull. ((that's a word, right?))
Letting her feet take her, Rose makes her way outside, coincidentally to where the battle had just taken place. She looks around in annoyed intrest at the tell-tale marks of the fight. She breathes the fresh air in deep and enjoys the sun on her back. Climbing on top of the tree that had crashed down during the fight, she sits on the edge of a limb and kicks her feet back and forth in a childish manner. Bored still, she decides to try out a new spell she learned. Rose silently mumbles the incanation and points at an up-turned rock. She giggles in girlish delight when the rock elevates off the ground two feet. With a sharp blast of concentration from Rose, the rock implodes in a dusty little cloud. Rose giggles again. "So much for that being exceptionally difficult." Lazily picking another rock, she continues her game, seeing how high she could get it to elevate before destroying it. |
Ignoring Knell, Legion stretches and falls on his back. Staring into the sun, his words creep into Alyce's mind with an icey sort of sensation. "Alyce.....oh Alyce...Are you being a good girl and doing your job, hm? I better not hear otherwise, I'd be awefully mad if I did. Mm hm."
Legion glances up at the castle, if Knell hadn't made it ridiculously obvious, by now the Gin's would have sensed him. It might be hard for him to avoid a straight up fight this time. Shrugging in apathy, he fails to get up. Let them come, they could never kill him. __ Onarav nods grimly, understanding Gin. He cracks his knuckes and stretches. "I sense the fight, as well as that TZM fellow seeming to be preparing himself for one of his own. This peace died fast. Let's go, brother. We need Vorena." |
Alyce has been lazing around and waiting for someone to fall asleep. Hiding her hunger is getting a bit more difficult now, as her stomach is growling more audibly. "I'm hungry, let me eat first. It's not like my target is going anywhere."
Upon hearing his name, Vorena arches and eyebrow and stands. He strides over to Onarav and Avalon. "Interested in taking out the new.. malevolent intruder I notice." |
Sander rubs his foot a little. Oh well, its gonna hurt I guess I'll deal. I'm goin to bed Alyce. G' night.
Sander lies down, exhausted, he falls asleep. |
A confused look quickly sweeps acroos Bernhard's face as he watches the two talk to each other. "Who will destroy?...... and who is coming?....." His tail slowly lashes back and forth as he watches the two. To be certain not to let his guard down he takes a firm graps on the land and tightens his grip on his sword.
Outside, Rose is becoming bored of her rock-destruction game. She draws Fate, her sword, and starts practicing some of her techniques. Of this she soon bores as well, and sits down, crosslegged, in the middle of the clearing.
With a concentrated thought and a clenched jaw, Rose sheds her human form for her truer, more natural demon form. Vampire canines peek over lips that are cracked and dry. Rose's skin seems to stretch more tightly over her body and strongly outlines her cheekbones. Her blue eyes become pupil-less, and expand on the mirror-like quality, reflecting everything they capture. Rose's hair doesn't change color or length, but seems more dry and brittle. Her nails grow into small claws and drip a noxious toxin. From her shoulder blades, two dragon-like wings rip through her t-shirt and extend towards the sky. The one wing is noticeably burnt and torn, and it is to this appendage Rose gives her attention for a second, checking it to see if it was still healing over. Now revealed, the power that saved Rose's life during Megiddo and fuels her otherwise-wasted body rolls off her in waves. The power is like a physical force as it sweeps the grass and shifts some of the pebbles caused by the rock implosions. It is undeniably strong, malevolent, and wild. Rose basks in it before giving a frustrated sigh. "With power like this, I could rule all." She glances around her. "So much power, so much training under Gale and One, and still I cannot control this!" In response to her anger, the power-field picks up to a new frenquency. Rose scowls and sits, dwelling in the power that was her very heartbeat, the power she couldn't control anymore then a pail can empty an ocean. |
TZM shook his head. "No time, just fight!" Suddenly his aura became more brilliant as he flew streight towards the oncoming figure, who seemed to increase it's spead as well.
Dax looked to Bern. "We better do as he says...oh, and one thing to remember, this guy's fast... I've fought him before..." he looked back towards the direction of the fight, getting ready to jump in. "and lost..." Dax streaked towards the oncoming figure as well, his dark aura flowing outwards. The oncoming figure glared, it's own power overflowing, seeing that he was not fighting one, but three. No matter... they would all die... TZM streaked towards the figure, his hand coming forth, glowing in it's own light, then suddenly a dagger flashed into existence, his other hand doing the same. "Kessa's daggers..." he looked at them for a slight moment then looked up towards the figure, holding the daggers in a stance to fight as he flew at him, them both glowing. Dax shook his head. "Crap... he's using the daggers..." he brought his hand behind his back and unsheathed a long broadsword, glimmering intertwining red symbols and letters from some other language written upon the blade, silver trimmings and articulate designs intertwining the hilt, it giving off it's own dark Aura. "I guess taking this bad boy for a spin wont be such a bad idea after all..." |
"Well don't gorge yourself too much, very soon there will be work to be done." The Demon finally rises with a yawn, looking around. A lot of powers were growing and approaching, how odd that this place was suddenly so busy. With any luck, they'd distract themselves and not all go after him.

Zak leans back in a kitchen chair at the table and fiddles absently with a beaded bracelet about his right wrist
"Theres nothing left for me now, I'm willing to do anything necessary to gain my place with a master. Who are these Gin's? A race or a group?" |
Lara sits on a counter, eating an apple as she speaks. "The Gins are Abbis, a race of wizards of sorts with unbelievable life spans. There was originally one man named Gin, a scientist. In an experiment he split himself into three, his negative pessimistic side who quite possibly has sociopathic tendencies, his good, optimistic who has a clear view of what's right and wrong, and the neutral who analysis situations without being affected by any sort of moral bias. They're brothers of sorts now, Abbissian lords before the race was wiped out." Lara tosses the core into a trash can, and stretches. "I'm sure I could ask them about it for you."
He sighs, eyeing Vorena as he nears the group. "Glad you could join us, brother. We need to be quick and quiet about this; I'm gonna head back outside to see if Knell might have brought some more trash in." Without another word, Avalon walks off back to his fighting spot, sighting Rose. He walks past her however, to the outskirts of the castle woods. "Hmm...."
Legion looks to his left and sees Gin, frowning. "Well, look who it is. Nothing better to do than wander around fighting little Demons?"
Rose spies Avalon heading towards the woods and stops in her thoughts to watch him. "I wonder what he's up to." She quickly clambers to her feet and jogs after Avalon. She hangs back a little, not sure if Avalon wanted company and not wanting to be told to go back to the castle.
He turns and sees Legion, a smile spreading across his face. "So I was right, the angel did bring in some trash."
Rose hears the exhanged comments and speeds up, skidding to a stop next to Avalon. She spies Legion and smirks. "Look who's all alone! I wonder if he has any fight in him when he's doesn't have any security to fall on." A whish sound of Fate being drawn informs Avalon that Rose was ready, and more then willing, to help.
Legion looks at Gin and Rose while letting out a howl of laughter. "Well Gin, I was certainly scared when you showed up, but when I saw the little girl backing you up I just about pissed myself."
Though appearing calm at first, he scowled when he saw Rose there, and further angered when she was suggesting she was going to fight. "Foolish girl! You have no business out here!" He sticks his arm out in front of her, then pushes her back and away. "Go back to the castle, you'll only get hurt if you stay!"
Rose, pissed, shoves pass Avalon and starts to head towards Legion. "I know how to fight! I'm not going back to the castle! I promised Ayn I'd help protect this castle, and I'm going to keep that promise!"
A cloaked figure sdtands behind avalon and Rose, watching silently from the darkness of the shadows. This was all just so interesting...
With an eyeroll the Demon stretches his arms above his had and takes a stance. "Very well, then let's get it started!" Legion snaps his fingers and a circle of light appears around the fighters, and the ground collapses within the circle, greating a void on the edges of he makeshift platform. If that was not enough, the ground behind it sparks and becomes engulfed with flame, successfully cutting off anyone from leaving or entering.
The Demon begins swaying from side to side and snapping his fingers to a silent beat in his mind. He begins stomping his foot the the rythmn and sending shockwaves toward Gin and Rose in the process. |
Rose gets pushed back by the first shockwave. With an inhuman shriek, she lifts her body into the air with three strong pushes of her wings. With amazing speed, she cuts across the space towards Legion, slashing at him as she passes, then spinning up towards the sky to loop back around.
The cloaked figure stands, still standing where he was, seamingly uneffected by the flames, merely standing and watching, the cloak billowing slightly, black eyes looking into the now battle feild, white puppels watching the now rather oddly dancing Legion. If they saw him, it didnt matter now... not like they could do much about him being there. A slight snear came to his face. This should prove to be rather entertaining...
His eyes follow Rose as she flies through the air. Damn, that girl is gonna get herself killed. Ugh, but I can't worry about such an idiotic girl. Gotta get Legion. "Don't take your eyes off the target!" He jumps back, so the shockwaves aren't as strong under his feet, but as he jumps back he holds his arm out, pushing forward; this in turn pushes Legion back-- putting distance between them.
Legion is hacked in the face and pushed back by Avalon. Cracking his head to the side, the gash in his face begins to heal. With a roar he dashes forward and up, deciding to eliminate Rose before moving on to Gin.
Rose doesn't expect to be followed upwards, and when she sees Legion's gruesome face coming at her, she freezes for a second. Shaking her head, she climbs higher into the sky and then dives down, trying to shake Legion off of her trail. Turning, she throws innumberable insults at him.
The figure continued watching, his head slowly looking up to see the airborn fight now. He watched the one known as Rose closley, then smiled slightly. "You cannot defeat Legion like this... use another tactic..." these words carried to her ears and hers alone, his speach being directed to only her.
Gin, still on the ground, mutters to himself. "Damn. He's not dumb, he knows to take out the easy one first. Dumb girl.." He mumbles something under his breath, and suddenly Rose falls like a giant weight towards the ground. Avalon steps in and catches her. "You're getting yourself in deep, he has his eyes on you. Stay behind me."
Rose hears the voice and does a spin before being caught by Avalon's spell. "Wh...what?" The event gets shaken from her as Avalon catches her. She snarls at him. "Legion doesn't scare me! I can fight too!"
A shark grin spreads across his face when he sees Rose and Gin together, and with green energy pouring into his claws, he spirals downwards. Speeding up as he falls he closes in on the two, a malevolent grin from ear to ear.
He snarls, seeing Legion come down on them. He pushes Rose out of the way, and shields himself, while contacting Rose. Show me what you got then .
"Your tactics must be changed, do something different, think before you act..." the words came as an almost wisper, a soothing voice, but one that held power. The figure looked up at legion coming at him. "One could easily stop legion... if they only understood him... his weaknesess..."
Wings suddenly spread out from Legion's back, slowing and haulting his fall above Gin. He throws his arms forward and sends a beam of green energy crashing down toward the ground and Gin.
Rose shakes her head, trying to clear out the different voices in there. A memory of her training surfaces, when she had to focus on her objective. "Focus.."
Watching Legion come down at Avalon, Rose jumps backwards and punches the air in his direction. From her fist, a massive shot of energy is produced and richochets towards Legion. She then leaps into the air and cuts through it, right behind her first attack and hoping to slice Legion after the energy hit him. |
The figure smiles slightly then shakes his head. "You are still learning Rose... your strength is not at it's peak becouse of the mere fact you do not understand what that strength is... but that can be shown and revealed in due time..." The figure looked to Legion and chuckled slightly. "Hello Legion..."
Avalon only gets a second to look up at the beam, then back down to shield himself. It knocked Avalon back, and off his feet. This hadn't been done in a long time in any of his fights, he was instantly angered. He got back up as soon as he hit the ground, and was about to attack but saw Rose taking charge. He calms down, and stops, to see what happens.
Legion turns his head to look at the stranger, only to be hit by Rose's attacks and have a sword lodged in his head. There's cracking sound as the blade hits bone and stops. Legion pauses and slowly turns his head, sword still inside, and faces Rose, snarling. Legions snaps forward, his face transforming into a more snout-like, larger jaw with rows of fangs. He attemps to grabs the girl's arm between his teeh, and rip it off.
At the sight of the nightmareish figure, Rose screams and kicks at him. Her arm gets seriously torn, but remains intact to her body. She tears herself away from Legion, screaming in pain and terror. Her arm falls limp and useless at her side. In retalitation, she again 'punches' the air and sends another energy blast at Legion, but this one is noticeably weaker and tinged red at the edges.
