"Another strength is understanding when you have to stop... Rose, you can defeat Legion... just not right now..." The words sooth, as well as persuasive, understanding, as if the person knows Rose in a way others do not.

Legion, now looking something more human, lets out a cackle as he licks the blood from his lips, he then pulls the sword out of his head and throws it between him and Rose. "Want the sword, little girl? Go on and reach for it." Legion grins, revealing bloodied fangs.

Avalon appears in front of Legion, suddenly. "Hope you're having fun." He balls his fist up, and hits Legion square in the chest.

Rose reaches out for the sword at the same time Avalon appears. The mysterious voice rings in her head. Avalon's punch knocks the sword a little loose, and Rose grapples for it.

Legion immediately frowns and lets out a screech as he's knocked back, another crack sounding as his ripcage is broken back, and he spews blood of his own out of his mouth as he flies backwards, sliding toward the edge of the battlefield. "Aw, ****ing killjoy!

He smirks. "You haven't lost that wit of yours." He jumps forward, fist out, about to hit Legion in the face, but before he hits him, he disappears and reappears above Legion, punching him in the head, sending him down to the ground.

A crater forms bellow Legion as he's pummled to the ground. He dives forward and turns, rising a few feet away from Gin. He snarls, seems he's upset to face a evenly matched, if not a superior, opponent. "Oh shut up, grandpa." Legion lets out a roar and begins to pour energy into his claws.

He shakes his head at the sight of Legion. "You never learn, do you?" An arrow appears somewhere behind Gin, and shoots forward in Legion's direction, right as his claw. "Now tell me, why do you keep coming back here? You know you can't win."

Legion's claw is caught by the arrow and impaled, sending the blast to Legion's left instead of directly at Gin. Still, the Demon continues laughing. "Because I need Gaia...and you lot are fun."

"Focus Rose... your wounds are severe, focus upon healing and focus upon who you are... continue to live..." The figure looked to Legion and smirked. "You are not as powerful as you think you are... you are distracted easily..."

"You just waste your time though." He rises up, stopping in front of Legion. "You can't win." He rushes forward, grabbing Legion by the arm and swings him around and let's go towards the flames on the outside of the arena they're fighting in.

"Who are you?" Rose thinks, wondering if this mysterious voice can hear her. Grimacing, Rose rips off a part of her shirt and single-handly ties it into a sloppy bandage. She shakes her head at the crude job as the shirt almost instantly becomes red, but she doesn't seem worried about blood loss. However, her face has become pale and wan and her wings beat weaker each time. Shaking it off, she moves down towards Avalon and Legion, not finished yet.

Tighting his arms and legs against his body started to speed him up even more as he closes the distance between the new combatant. "A guide to a lost soul..." The figure's eyes never blink, ever watching. "You are brave Rose, although you are down, you continue the fight... an admirable trait... but you must also understand your weaknessess... Know when to alow others to fight when you cannot..." The figure continued watching, his gaze shifting to the fight once more. "I'm not telling you to quit... I'm merely voicing that ones strengths can come from understanding of one's weaknessess... what are your weaknessess Rose?..."
~~~ Dax looked back, seeing Bern's slight transformation as well as his manipulation of the shadows. "Hmmm... this could be interesting..." TZM and the new figure clashed, a shock wave of what seamed to be the winds itself spreading outwords, as well as the glimmering light of TZM's twin daggers, their blades emitting a bright white light. The new figure is finally shown, it's form being that of some bizzar cross between a human and a Bird, it's face holding the appearance of that of a Male, roughly simmilar to TZM's face in fact, however the long blonde hair in which he once had was now changed, different, dark and oily. His appearance had been changed and perverteed from it's original state, and aranged into a sort of demon-esque form, his wings that once looked as if angel wings upon his back now demonic and black, seamingly as a Bat's wings, and his claw like talons where a normal human's feat would be had become that of some deranged demonic gargoyle or such. A dark aura surounded this figure, it's power radiating and twisting itself, however, it held a sort of inverse effect of what TZM's own power felt and was. As the two clashed, the surounding area was suddenly thrashed as if two storms had collided and was fighting the other, the elemental's of the wind were at war with one another, a battle of the titans if you will. |
"Having voices in my head might be a good place to start." Rose grits her teeth. "How do you know who I am anyway?"

The figure chuckled slightly. "I will alow you to formulate your own visualiziations on what reason and how I may have the knoladge of something as little of your name, as for voices in your head... I am not a mere voice, I am a being, very real, and easily seen if you only attempted to see with your own eyes and stopped trying to see how Gale might have wanted you to see."

Finnally reaching his destination he spreads his wings upwards and comes to a halt in the air a few feet from where the two have clashed. "I need more....." He quickly says a few Gargoylion words and raises his hand out his front of him. Soon after, the shadows that had been leaking out of him come to a stop and starts to absorb into Bern's arms. A light whistling could be heard and soon after a nine foot spiked whip burts out of Bern's hand. The whip was dark and hazy like smoke but still maintaining a clear look to it. He quickly grabs the handle and thrusts it upwards and giving it a quick tug sending a loud cracking noise spewing in the air. "Let's start....." Tensing every muscle in his body he tightens the grip on both sword and whip and thrusts the whip forward at the bird like man.

The fighter suddenly dissapeared, alowing TZM's own momentum to bring him forwards, the attck from Bern hitting him. "Agg...!" Seaming to reaper from no where, the fighterkicked Bern's back, attempting to send him flying towards TZM, spinning in a way so that he now faced Dax, flying at him at full spead, both clashing within a moments time. The actions could have happened within a blink of an eye...
Dax glared, his blade and the figure's weapon sending sharp sounds of metal scratching metal reverberating into the air, the winds of the area all pishing towards dax now. "Damn... I said you were fast..." |
Bones could be heard cracking in Bern's back from the kick in the back. Now clashing with TZM hes sinks down to the ground until he spreads his wings once more and floats back into his rightful position. he feels his back for a moment, bursts out laughing and giving a big grin to the man showing off his razor sharp dagger like teeth. "For now you are a friend..... I've been trying to crack that part of my back for ages!.... and now...." He soars towards the man a lashes out with the whip once more.

The figure glared at Dax, not caring about the newcomer. "You of his blood and power..." Dax glared back.
"maybe blood... but power? i dont think so..." He shifted his sword slightly, alowing the figure to actually come forwards more before diliberuptly canncelling his own guard, alowing the fult force of the attck come in at him, his own momentum coming forwards now, kicking his chest hard, but grappling with him, Dax spun arounhd, sumersualting with him grappled in the air for a seconed, then ended, throwing him down towards the ground, hard. Before a recovery was even made, dax took his sword, switched up thre stance and holding style, grabbing the handle ina backwards stance, and through it like a lance at some distance ahead of where the figure was facing, although speading towards the ground. To some it would not make much since... it looked as if he was merely throwing the sword into the ground... "Nah... I'm the new and improved version!" He looked over to bern, seeing his attack carrying the way that the figure had once been, odging it he glared slightly then chuckled. "I have an idea..." He crossed his arms and looked down, all pf these actions happening swiftly and quickly. The sword plunged downwards, flying so fast the wind around it seamed to spin of of it, visibley altered. Suddenly, the figure spread it's demonic wings and recovered from the fall, and sure enough flew streight towards where the sword was aimed, the timing being perfect and accuracy right on, the sword caught the figure in the back and he slammed into the ground. |

"We'll see about that!" Rose, having somehow overcome the numbing loss of blood and pain, bolts at Legion, slashing through the air. Her version of Gale's slash attack, a wave of energy erupts off the sword blade and screams through the air towards Legion. As it moves, it narrows and takes on a dragon-like shape for a moment, its mouth opening to engulf Legion within.

Legion snaps his head to the side to face Rose and lets out an angry snarl. Another moment and he'd of gathered enough energy to defend. The blast crashes into the Demon and sends in down into the chasm surrounding the platform. He lets out a howl of anger as the blast explodes, causing part of the ground to cave in on top of him. For a moment, there is silence.

He sees Rose pull off her move, and sees Legion fly off the platform and down into the unknown. He then looks back at Rose. "He's not done. Don't be fooled. But damnit, child, listen to me here! Go back to the Castle, get any of my brothers to come out. Legion will be back up soon. Go. Now!"

Rose stares at Avalon, half-defiant. "I'm coming back!"
With a last loathing glance at Legion's rubble pile, Rose takes off, flying speedily. A couple minutes later, she crashes through the window of the library, where she last remembered the other Gins to be. Rose spots them and, panting, points back the way she came. "Legion...attacked...Avalon...help..." Her managled version gets the point across, as well as her pale complexion and mutatliated arm. "Go!" |
Giggles whisper across the battlefield, Legion's disembodied voice beaming with glee, but he speaks no words. Instead, the bits of bone and skin and ash begin to reform individualy, until a least a dozen red eye are floating above the dirt, all staring at Avalon. Their pupils being to glow and burn, their gaze growning stronger by the second. Soon they all unleash piercing beams of light from all different angels, aimed at Gin to skewer him.
__ Onarav raises an eyebrow at Rose, and quickly rises. "I'll go, I suggest you gather the others. I can't believe Avalon would have so much difficulty with that Demon..." |
"He told to go get help. Like he nearly got his arm bitten off or something." Somewhat meekly, Rose obeys Onarav's command. It's obvious that his close connection to Gale Onarav puts him in a place of high respect to Rose. "Who else should I find? Just Vorena?"

Onarav heads toward the window and waves a hand. "Gather anyone of use, and don't you dare disturb Ayn or let her go unprotected. Though I'm sure Vorena will be sure of that loose end. We shouldn't need anyone else." With a leap the wizard disappears from sight, and quickly moves to find his brother. "Brother, I'm on my way. What's wrong? Legion is normally not this threatening."

Rose looks around, not seeing anybody. "Don't want to go finding people. They might need my help! ...But still....I should at least...aww.." Rose speedily digs up her journal and rips a page from it, scribbling a quick note across it.
Fighting Legion in the woods on the outskirts of the castle town Please come help! -Rose, Gin A., Gin O. "Better then nothing...?" Rose shrugs, pins the note down by a book, and glances at her arm. By some miracle, the bleeding had stopped, so it wasn't that bad anymore. She grins. This meant there was no exuse for her not to be able to fight. Exiting the way she had came, Rose flies back towards the battle scene, looking forward to the second round with Legion. |
The voice came to Rose's ears again. "Listen to me Rose... this battle holds importance... inportance for you, for them... for everyone... even me."

"Yes, Lara, I'd like that. But for now I just need a place to have a real sleep, I feel safe enough in this castle. It's like...theres not many things that could have the strength to brake in."

After regaining his momentum after the last failed attack he watches the figure fall to the ground. He quickly speeds twards the earth and then stops to see if the figure had any intention of playing oppossum. He lays the whip at his side and puts his sword out in front of him. ".... Something doesn't feel right.... out in the distance.... somethings wrong....."

The sounds of what could onlt be described as a screach-roar screamed outwards as the blade peirced into the figure, pinning it into the ground, the blade cleaving into the earth below it. It's head suddenly snapped up, looking towards the distance where the battle took place.
"He knows..." Dax looked to TZM. "This isn't good..." The fallen one spread it's wings out, then siddenly the destructive force of a huge blast of wind launched outwards, a cleaved long trench where the fallen one had been and where the sword had cleaved within the ground, the sword now flung into the air. "He's flying their direction!" Dax glared, his head snapping towards TZM "I told you to kill him! YOUR LETTING BACK!" TZM glared outwards towads te now flying figure. "we have to stop him..." he looked over then yelled. "Bern! Stop him!" |
Avalon hears the voice of Onarav in his head but doesn't have time to respond before he gets on the receiving end of Legion's new attack. Thinking quickly, Avalon flies up, trying to avoid the beams, dodging any that come close. "Damnit, Onarav! Get over here quick! I dunno what Legion did over his absence, but he got stronger. Though still can't land most attacks, his stamina has definately been upped. He bounces back after every attack."

Onarav does not respond but instead throws his cane toward his brother, and much like Sin in transforms. The cane flattens and spreads, creating and over sized shield that blocks the piercing beams, if only until the floating eyes change their position. He flies next to Gin, holding the shield. "He may be able to take it better than he can dish out, but that doesn't make him a god. Where is he?"

"Oh ****!" Quickly snapping his head and listening he realizes that somethings not right. He throws his whip away and pulls his arm far back and thrusts his sword in the air. As it flys quickly through the air he pulls both hands back one more and fires a huge blast of shadows at the sword. Once the two finally meet it thrusts the sword even faster at the figure and slowly covers the sword in a film of shadows. After the shot had been fired he uses all of his strength to speed after the figure. "Can't let this guy go....."

Dax used his powers to help spead up Bern as well as his weapon, both he and TZM streaking after them.
"You could easily stop him... why do you hold back?..." "I have to... this is my fault Dax..." |
Rose careens closer and catches up with them. She holds Fate at hand, once again ready to fight. A surge of jealousy boils in her as she sees Onarav and Avalon seeming to readily be able to handle the fight without her assistence. "I'll fight. They'll need me!" A smaller part of Rose's mind realizes how awful it is she wants to fight so badly, but Rose steadily ignores this and watches for her chance.

The voice once again wispers to Rose's ears. "Why do you still wish to fight?..." The figure slowly started away from where the battle had once been and started towards her direction. "Why does this fire burn so fearcly within such a hear as your own?..."

He sighs, thankful his brother made it. "Legion fell off the platform, he is down there somewhere. The girl attacked him, sending the house down. Obviously though, he's not defeated."

Muttering curses Onarav shakes his head. "Great, we can't see him. His stamina and speed are his fortes, combine that with not knowing where he is, we have a problem."
The eyes immediately scatter and soar upward beside the Gins. Their eyes begin to glow as they fire their beams of energy at the brothes. "Damnit! Go down!"Without warning Onarav drops like a rock, allowing gravity to take its hold on him. He crashes into the platform using his shield to soften the crash. Two of the piercing beams were ignited where he was once floating. Turning the shield in a mace, he looks around. "The eyes are just distractions..." __ Lara gives Zak a sort of nervous laugh. "I certainly hope you're right, kid." |
Rose watches the eyes and dismisses them. She looks at where she had left Legion, buried under a pile of rubble. "Maybe he's still there and Avalon's wrong." She moves closer to it and watches it carefully. "Avalon would have seen him come out. Nobody's that fast." She inches closer until she's standing right over it and sends a small blast of energy into the pile.

Rose's blast sends the rumble flying away, and strangely, downward. When the dust and debris cleared, it becomes clear that Legion never got up. The Demon had tunnelled downward into darkness.
Meanwhile, the eyes begin to fuse together, creating bigger, more powerful beams. One spots Rose and begins to glow. ((Project to do. Ta.)) |
He dropped alongside Onarav. "Yeah, you're right. Gotta keep watching out" Just then he notices Rose on the side of the platform. "Damnit! She's gonna get herself killed! She is so arrogant, and headstrong. Legion would have probably been dealt with a long time ago if I hadn't had to babysit her!"

Rose's eyes widen in disbelief. "Av...Avalon! You better come see this!" She waves him over, not seeing the beams beginning to glow from the ominous eyes.

"Almost.....There..... THERE!" After reaching his destination he leaps into the air and kicks the hilt of the sword speeding it u even more then it had been before. The speed of the sword now was immense but to make sure Bernhard continues to follow the figure. All he could possibly do now was to watch and wait....

The rock infront of Rose buckles as a palm flies foward, crushing her face into the opposite wall. "'Ello, poppit." Legion then tosses Rose back toward the tunnel he crashed out of, just as the eye fires a beam in their direction. With a giggle he bounces out of the way and back on the platform. He immediately frowns. "Aw, hell. Two of you?"

Rose lands in a crumpled heap, both hands clutching her face and mifling a sob of pain. She's pretty sure that Legion broke her nose. Twisting around, she looks up the tunnel and curses under her breath. "Stupid move, Rose-o." The pain in her face fogs her thinking and ability to move and she stumbles back towards the surface, biting her lip and drawing her sword.

He sees the beam coming, he pushes Onarav out of the way, and also himself jumps away, the beam just missing them. He was about to answer to Legion's statement, but saw Rose trapped. He turns to Onarav. "Handle him for me." He then runs off in the direction of Rose's tunnel, trying to help her out.

The figure stands just over where Rose is, looking down towards her. "You are hurt Rose... it is now time to alow others to fight, you have done all you can..." he looked up towards Gin coming their way.

Rose shakes her head. "I'm not going to stand aside and let them fight while I cower like a little kid!" She glances up at Avalon, secertly relieved he had come to help. "...Guess I got too close." Rose sticks out her hand for Avalon to take to help her up.

The figure closed it's eyes then opened them again. "Rose... you would not be cowering, i can feal it within you, wanting help... you cannot fight him on your own, do not figfht blindingly... Gale never taught you to be a team player did he?..."

"Gale taught me how to fight. He taught me that if I don't need to depend on anybody, I'll be a hell of a lot better off. He taught me that trust is blind and weak, easily broken for fortune. He taught me how to survive." Rose shakes her head, mentally speaking. "Why do you care? Why are you hounding me and making me loose my concentration?!"

At the far side of the forest, Hayate trudges towards the castle. The woods aren't somewhere he's been before, so you'll excuse him if he gets a little lost. Don't patronise me. Sorry. Anyway. As the path disappared into the depths of the forest, he found himself getting deeper and deeper into a totally unknown forest. Still, he follows his time-honured tradition when lost: Just keep going in a straight line. Considering he was fairly certain the castle was across the forest from where he started, with any luck he was going in the right direction. Oh, for heaven's sake. Let me write the rest. The maze of trees seemed unending, not a glimmer of light from the outside penetrating. While he was confident that he was heading in the right direction, something seemed wrong. From a distance, the sounds of a battle were audiable, and a lance of light punched through the tree infront of him, searing a inch over his shoulder. Instinctively, he went for his sword, remembering too late that Riki still had it. <Damnit. And who the hell is fighting? We're just outside the castle! Some people have no respect! Should I intervene? No. Wait, find out what's going on. But we'll leave this battle to fight itself out.> ((*sigh* I'll do the writing from now on. Fine, fine. Just let me sleep)) |
The Demon grins as the floating eyes begin to fuse together, creating one massive eye above him. It begins to fly up and then look straight down, slowly glowing brighter. With a roar he charges at Gin, who remains calm.

Rose decides to stop waiting around for Avalon and gets herself out of the tunnel. She absently brushes her knees off and looks for Legion. Spotting him, Rose starts heading in his direction. She doesn't run or fly, but walks with a single-minded purpose. Fate is held loosely in her right hand. When she gets close enough, she looks up at Legion and sneers. "Hey, detergent breath. Why don't you come fight me one-on-one, hand to hand. Unless you're too much of a coward?" |
"She will not stop..."
Let her go... her fate is already decided... "I understand..." her part has yet to be played... "Yes... I know..." The figure slowly walked forwards, never coming closer than several feat away from the battle grounds. "She must do this alone... hopefully... hopefully she will learn something from this..." *** Dax smiled. "he did it..." he looked to TZM "Lets get him!" "No..." "What?! why?" "Let Bern fight him... see how he fares..." "Bern?... but he" "Let him do it..." "he could get killed." "As could either of us, if he needs help we'll jump in." "Ok..." ~~~ The blade his the flying figure streight on, a screach coming from it and it fell to the ground with a thump, feathers and energy going in all directions. As the dust cleared, the figure slowly opened it's eyes, fiearcness still residing within. It slowly stood and turned, blood issiung forth around the blade and it's own shape, turning to look towards Bern. The blade stick forth from it's chest, the blood flowing very much. A small smile came to the figure's bird like lips, ready to fight once more... |
He had just reached a safe viewing position, when he saw one of the antagonists clearly outlined against the flaming barrier.
Legion. Again, his hand tries to grab for the non-existant sword, but he catches it in time. <What's got into me recently? Hm, never mind, looks like Legion's gunning for someone...> |
The aged Abbis sidesteps and twirls, giving his cane ample time to morph into a mace, which he successfully clubs Legion square in the face with. The Demon is sent back in a shower of blood. "This game of yours is over, Demon."
Chucking Legion throws his head back, tossing his hair away from his bloodied face, grinning. He tilts his head toward Rose, but doesn't take his eyes away from Onarav. "Don't speak to me you domesticated trash, you do realize that I've been outnumbered this entire fight and you still haven't managed to destroy me? To be expected from humanized garbage." Legion wipes his arm over his face, moving the blood out of his eyes. |
A tall cloaked figure leaned against a tree in the forest, watching the battle take place. Surely this wasn't where the person the figure was looking for was. Maybe it was and there was only one way to find out. Though the figure had patience, there was only so much it had. Years of patience and service and it finally reached who they were looking for.
After looking around, the figure removed the hood of the cloak, revealing a pale, slender face. Dark brown eyes gazed the battle field while long dark hair went back with the wind playing with it. "And so I've finally found you." She whispered after spotting someone who was barely recognizable on the field. She didn't smile like she thought she would but only sighed. The burden of search was lifted from her shoulders, but now a new one arised. How was she to approach an old friend...someone who had been more than a friend to her at a point before supposedly learning of his 'death'. |
TZM shook his head, knowing that he had failed Sirius by alowing him to be corrupted by evil. He sighed, slowly coming to the ground. "He is weaked... i no longer wish to fight him..."
"But..." "Dax... please..." "Ok... i think Bern and i can get 'im" TZM started walking away, his power no longer radiating off of him, he looked down at the daggers withyin his hands. They were her daggers... the daggers she used to fight with, she had left them behind... he closed his eyes then oepned them, looking up. "Oh god..." it was his imagination... it had to be... she couldn't be there... but it... it looked like her... he stood motionless, looking at her, merely standing and staring. |
The woman noticed that the man she had searched for was looking at her. She pushed off the tree with a frown. He could see her that far, at least his eyes were still good. She saw the two daggers in his hands. Automatically, her hand went to her side sheaths where the daggers used to be kept. Now, two more replaced them. Two silver daggers with "TZM" engraved on the blades. After sighing, the woman slipped her hood on again and turned.
She couldn't contront him now. He wanted to follow, it was his choice, but she had no idea of what to say. Why had she gone looking for him when she didn't even know what to say when the search was over? Nothing and that's why she was turning around. She got to see he was alive and now, there was nothing much more to do. |
"I thought you were dead..." These are the only words that he spoke, the winds wafting too and frow, reflecting his emotions. the wind carried his words to her ears, slightly blowing her cloak, like so many wispers, flowing by. His voice did not sound emotional or shaky... he sounded normal, it was almost as if nothing new had happened, it was a rather matter of fact tone. he had thought she was dead, and he made sure she knew this fact. He closed his eyes and sighed.

After those words entered her ears, she turned and sighed on her own. It had been so long since she had even heard his voice, not even felt his presence and it was something that was dearly missed. He had thought she'd die? But why? Then again, she herself thought that he died. There was something totally wrong with that. She noticed the wind had slightly picked up and couldn't help but to slightly smile. She hadn't forgotten his power.
The woman looked up at the sky, clouds over head, rain began to fall as a light sprinkle. "And I thought you were dead as well." Her words fell down along with the rain, coming down over TZM. The emotions of the words were just as slack as his own. |
"I was told... by the goddessess that you had died... on a mission that you had been sent on by them... why... would they lie to me?..." he shook his head, the wind suddenly swirling in a slightly different direction, he closed his eyes, fealing the rain trickle upon his face. It had been a long time since he had heard her voice as well, the loss of her in his life had messed with him so much...
He opened his eyes, looking towards her again, the rain and sprinkling water seaminging to flow as one. "They told you the same thing... didnt they?..." |
"Yes, it's what they told me. I had never believed it though and so I've searched for you...for you so long..." She didn't finish, not knowing what to say. She hadn't moved, even when the wind swept past her. The rain came down pouring now as memories rushed her.
Her hand undied the a clear pendant attached to the cloak and pulled out a necklace. A small stone was on the end of a chain, half of that stone missing. It was slightly glowing, missing it's other half, knowing that it was near by. "This...it let me know you were still alive...somewhere...out there." |
He closed his eyes, bringing his own necklace out,from around his neck, the end glowing slightly. He smirked slightly. "god... i belived them..." the wind went in a different direction suddenly, his sorrow turning to slight anger. "I had it in my head that... your spirit was with me... helping me, giving me strength..." His eyes opened again, tears within. "I never... thought you'd still be alive..."

"My spirit has always been with you, even if I am alive." The woman took a step forward, the wind harshly hitting her as the rain was falling diagnolly from how strong the wind was going. She looked up, the rain hitting her face and she closed her eyes. Seeing him finally, something within her gut was released letting her body relax. Feelings overwhelmed her, did she still love him? Yes, the woman was happy to find him alive and well in a way, but she wasn't sure whether she was still in love with him.
"Can I ask you something? I know that it would seem...sudden...and maybe I'm asking too early...but I have to ask it if you don't mind." |
He noded, the wind slowly starting to subside, his thoughts of the gods disspipating to the woman now before him. "Ask what you want... i will try to answer."

The woman sighed before asking. The rain had slowed to a drizzle. "Do...do you still love me?"

The wind stopped, suddenly, the shifting enotions completly at a stand still, those words coming to his ears. he closed his eyes, the wind's slowlt lofty fealings coming up slightly, then he opened them again and looked at her. "I... never stopped loving you..."

The woman stood there, not moving, not doing anything after hearing those words. She didn't know whether she had still loved him or not. She had closed her heart off to most people after being told of TZM's 'death'. Even though she didn't believe it, she prepared herself for it and stopped feeling most to everything.
The woman swallowed and sighed. She didn't know what to do now. Turn around? Go meet him once again? What to do, what to do... |
He sighed, turning. "If i said anything wrong I am sorry... I will allow you to think about things if you wish... and KB... I'm sorry for not... trying to find you..." he started away, walking slowly.

KB took a step forward, then she took another, walking toward the field where TZM and Dax were while speaking. "Don't go...how can you say something wrong when you were speaking your mind? And it isn't your fault about not knowing I was alive. It's those damn godesses." KB didn't know why she was making her way toward them, but staying still in one spot was not just her.

TZM stopped walking and looked down, the wind's course changing once more. "K... Alot of things have happened to me sence our days back at Windfall... I dont know if I am even the same man i once was... Could you bare that fact?"

KB stopped just a few feet in front of TZM, feeling the wind move her cloak against her legs. She shrugged in response. "Why would it matter if I could bare that fact? If you change, then that's something that I'd have to...adjust to, right?"

He sighed slightly. "the world has changed... so many things have changed..." his eyes opened, looking towards her face, the wind wipping his hair slightly to his face, his grean eyes looking into her blue eyes. "what would you ask of me K?... Do you... waqnt to be with me again?"

A long pause before either combatant moves or speaks. Bern looks at the feathered man, sword jutting out of him. He takes long deep breathe before digging his feet into the ground for more stability.
"I've heard your tough to beat.... very..... I might die but the satisfaction of knowing that i will take you down with me is worth dying.... Well then?...." He spreads his wings and rushes forward after the blood drenched figure. Then lashing out with his claws in a diagonal pattern. |
KB's eyes widened from his question. She was slightly taken a back by it. "I don't know..." She paused for a moment and closed her eyes trying to get her thoughts together. "It seems too sudden. I just found you again T...let me adjust to this...and then you can ask me that question later." She said peering into his green eyes. They were still magnificent as ever, but somehow...they seemed slightly changed.

He nodded. "Dax and Bern can handle this fight... would you rather enter the castle and speak of matters?... Catch up on things if you will, it would be nice... seeing as it's been almost a year sence we have seen one another."
~~~ The figure ripps the sword from his own body, a new splash of blood admitting itself out to the ground, painting the earth with it's redness. it glared, then gave it's tell tale screach roar, and spread it's own wings, streaking towards Bern. |
Seeing the figure get back up made KB draw her daggers even though it turned to Bern. "If you really think that they can handle it, then yeah, we can go into the castle." She was not in the mood to be battling a thing at the moment.

He nodded. "Belive me... they can handle it... Dax is more powerful than you knew him even, and Bern can hold his own in a fight..." He looked to K again. "Lets go..." Suddenly they dissapeared and then reapeared within the lybrary of the castle.

She raised her eyebrows while her eyes searched the place, automatically looking for the doors just in case. She put her daggers back into their proper places without even looking. One went into the small of her back and the other in a sheath at her hip. "So, what has been happening with you?" KB asked while looking at a row of books, not really wanting to give him any eye contact.

TZM looked towards her for amoment then looked away. "well, i went through some hard times without you around... and then, I came here, not wishing to spend any more time after Windfall Cafe was shut down within that area, so i returned to my first home, here..." he sighed slightly, crossing his arms. "I was then 'tested' by the goddesses... basically torchered within hell for what seamed like 2 years... when it was merely 2 days..."

She raised her eyebrows at that and glanced at TZM. With his arms cross, KB could see slight swell of muscles in his arms. She had to quickly look away as memories flooded her. She remembered being in his arms, his embrace. She was blushing and wanted to hit herself for that. KB closed her eyes, trying to calm herself.
"I'm sorry to hear that. What happened to DTZM?" After asking that, she remembered DKB. Because of DKB, it was one of the ways she found TZM again. |
He chuckled slightly. "he goes by Dax now... you saw him earlier, he was fighting along with me." he slowly moved his arms from being cross and sighed slightly, slowly moving his gaze to KB's body, looking at her... she was slightly stronger looking, her build was slightly more developed... he blushed himself, looking away, clsoing his own eyes. He had missed holding her, fealing her against his body... and it was hard to be so close to her now..."

KB frowned for a moment, then formed an 'O' with her mouth in understanding. "Wow." was all she said for a moment. After sighing a little, she finally looked up at TZM for more than a second. "He still smokes like hell?"

He chuckled, shaking his head. "You know, earlier was the only time I didnt see him with a cig." He started laughing slightly, something that he had not done in quite a long time.

Hearing that slight laugh made KB smile. She hadn't heard his laugh for a long time, nor had she smiled much ever since they were seperated and told of each other's deaths. "It would probably be the only time too." Not knowing what to say, she leaned against a table and crossed her own arms, looking at TZM, his body looked bulkier and more built than she remembered. She raised her eyesbrows as her eyes rose to his face. He looked...better...in more of a term, muscular. There were more terms she could've said to herself, but she wasn't trying to think about it so she wouldn't blush. Blushing in front of him at this moment was not a good thing.

He smiled, shaking his head, his eyes closed. it had been so long sence he had genually smiled...
"So... what about you?... What have you been doing sence seperation?..." he opened his eyes, making eye contact with her, looking into those pools of blue, and he couldnt help but swallow. She seamed... even more beautiful than he had remembered... |
KB blinked for a moment, not exactly hearing what he had said. She was paying more attention to his body than his words. Her mind replayed what he had said. "Oh...ah...yeah," She blushed, she couldn't help it. "Damn it..." She whispered to herself feeling the heat rush to her cheeks. Rubbing her forehead with the fore and middle finger, she looked into T's eyes, determining not to look lower, not now at least.
"I went to look for Dark Link...until I ran into DKB...she goes by Kalima now though she looks the same. She ah, told me that you were still alive, that something in her knew it. I had the same feeling, but tried to ignore it, but Kalima wouldn't let me. Sooo...we went to a villiage and some magic master joined us together again and she helped me to find you and before I arrived, we seperated." |
He nodded. "is she still so... um..." he paused. "Like DKB?" he chuckled slightly, that was really the only way he knew to describe her. He couldnt help but smile,while talking to her, looking into her eyes still. he gave a slight sigh and a slight half sided smile (I have a tendency to do those... heh.) "it seams like both of us have gone through alot..." he couldnt help but be polled in by those eyes... he watched her look away slightly and he stole a glance at her body once more, blushing as well, the returning his gaze to her eyes.
What was he doing?... this was insane... it's not like they were going to be anything ever again... |
"Yeah, she smokes now too. Not exactly a chain smoker, but she told me that after seeing DTZ-...Dax do it, she took it up. As far as her hot temper and bad ass image, yes, I'd say she's the same." KB slightly smiled as she studied T's face. It was slightly redder than before. Was he blushing? Surely not. "Do I see a little red in your face?" She asked in a joking tone.

His eyes widdened slightly then he looked to her face. "yours is too..." he smiled slightly then looked away, closing his eyes and shaking his head. What was he doing... this was so stupid...so freaken stupid... He slowly opened his eyes again then looked back. "well... I'm glad she hasn't changed much, Dax...well... this has been the first time we've spoken in a long while. We dont's exactly get along anymore..."

She shook her head, trying not to smile. "What do you mean you and him don't get along anymore? Hell, me and DKB-a.k.a Kalima barely got along, but just enough to get by, what happened with the two of you?"

TZM shook his head for a seconed... "He just didn't agree with some of my veiws and such... and also, losing Kalima messed with him too... so he changed his name so that we were rather unconnected, as well as changed his apearance using his ability to manipulate shadows... now he frequints bars and such, or he tries to find someone who will understand... I understand, but he doesnt want my help..." He sighed slightly. "Frankly, he only got into this last fight becouse it was a big one..."

"DKB changed her name to Kalima because she doesn't like being associated to me unless there truly is a purpose. Plus, she wants to be her own person." KB ran her hand through her hair before continuing. "Dax and Kalima still sound alike. I don't know whether she still likes him. She never mentioned him. But ah, about Dax, what do you mean he got into his last fight because it was a big one?"

He sighed slightly. "Dax and Bern... their fighting Sirius..." He closed his eyes. "theyc an handle him... and... i couldnt take Dax's constant demands to kill him..." he looked towards her face. "I'd rather talk to you right now... and i can still see what he sees, their fairing well."

KB thought for a moment. She could see what DKB could if she concentrated. KB was tempted to see what her other half was doing at that moment, but something told her that she need not see. She looked around instead. "What do you think about staying here?"

He shook his head. "i would not like to stay here, this is not my castlke, although it is a friends, i do not wish to burdan her... I usually stay within a small shack near the edge of the woods..."
