new years (jan 1st, and lunar) = do nothing
valentines = do nothing
april fools = get tricked ... yay ...
easter = nothing
st patrick = green ... yay ... it's only plants, not money
victoria day = i still don't know the meaning of it
canada day = launch fireworks for the umpteenth time
labour day = delay school for an extra day ... joy ...
thanksgiving = i give thanks for dinner? wait, dinner's nonexistant in my family
halloween = i waste money on candy ... yay ...
rememberance day = stand for a minute in silence and listen to mumbling "speech readers" in some ceremony
x'mas = no present ... joy ...
birthday = nothing but the wonderful gifts of age ... wow ....
